Hudson Mohawk Chapter of the Pioneer Gas Engine Association

Gas Up was founded in 1967. The show started out with just a few engines, a few guys, a backyard, and passion.  The show has since grown to many displays and spectators walking the grounds of Gas-Up every June.  The displays range from hit-and-miss engines, to early 20th century cars, to an old fashioned running saw mill and much more.  On a typical Gas Up day you will hear the hit-and-miss engines firing, see the cars rolling around the grounds, and will see the saw mill in action.  who knows.... maybe you will get to take a ride in a 100 year old car!

The Gas Up also features home-made ice cream run by hit and miss engines, catering from BBQ Delights, and home-made pies and pastries.  In our head-quarters building, you can purchase Gas Up merch, enter drawings, and become a member of Gas Up yourself!

Besides our yearly show every June, we also hold monthly meetings to discuss and plan future shows and events. Everyone is welcome to join monthly meetings.
